Here you can find pictures of EMD GP 38H-3 model engines. These engines were originally Go Transit of southern Ontario's General Motors Diesel Division (GMD), what became of (EMD), GP40TC locomotives 500-507 All sold to Amtrak in 1988. They were rebuilt by Norfolk Southern (NS) and are now classed as GP38H-3s. Therefore, they have the size of a GP40 but the basic details of a GP38. In the extra room now provided NS placed a pony engine to operate head-end power. Look closely because each engine was detailed according to what their normal assignments would be, and that makes the details different.
