The Maine Narrow Gauge RR may seem to have east and west backwards but if you know that the line they currently run on went to Montreal, Canada, remember that Montreal is northwest of Portland, and that the Grand Trunk line started at India St. and went out around the point, then you will understand why MNGRR West is east and MNGRR East is west.
With this in mind it stands to reason that PYS East is physically to the west of PYS West and the platform at 43.662232, -70.243688, don't worry, they know what they are doing. Thanks to Google Maps for the coordinates.
